Boy do I love these V&A desk calendars. I get one every year and use it as my daily planner on my desk at work. The photography/illustrations are always nice, I like that the paper is not glossy (and therefore much easier to write on with a variety of pens/pencils) and the spaces for each day are sufficiently large that I can record everything I need to for any given day. There is always a nice ribbon bookmark that is especially useful for opening right up to the current week.Some of the themes are better than others--this year's is probably the lamest (or at least, ugliest) of the past four or five years as far as aesthetics/illustrations go, but I can get over that out of loyalty to the V&A itself, and the layout of this very useful weekly desk calendar.
Even if you've never been to the V&A, this is just a fantastic workhorse of a desk calendar, perfectly inoffensive (and sometimes even stylish--previous years have showcased gorgeous vintage jewelry, New Look couture, etc.) for work, with a sturdy cover and great, useful design.
